Real Estate Investment · Spain & Caribbean
Susana Mateo
I help clients and investors make international real estate decisions with greater clarity, judgment and peace of mind — between Madrid and the Dominican Republic.
Let's talk.
About
I didn't come into real estate from a purely commercial place.
I'm a lawyer by training, and I came to Madrid looking for growth, formation and a more international perspective. While studying for a Master's in International Business Management, I had the chance to intern at a firm structuring real estate transactions in Spain during a time of deep market transformation.
That experience rekindled something deeply natural in me: my fascination with homes, spaces, and the way people build wealth and quality of life through a property.
Since I was a child I loved imagining layouts, projects and spaces. Over time I also discovered that, quite intuitively, I had a feel for floor-planning, interior decoration and transforming rooms.
Later I worked at international real-estate firms — German and American — which gave me a much more global view of how international clients think and how wealth decisions are made across different cultural contexts.
But one thing I eventually understood clearly: what I enjoyed most wasn't the real-estate transaction itself, but the act of walking alongside people through it.
Walking alongside people. Understanding their goals. Helping them make important decisions with more clarity and peace of mind.
Perhaps because I myself once lived through arriving in another country, adapting, and building a new chapter.
That's why my approach today combines: strategic vision, human sensibility, and end-to-end support.
Because I believe investing well shouldn't feel uncertain. It should feel clear, calm, and well accompanied.
Judgment
The real luxury in investing is peace of mind.
I'd rather look at fewer opportunities — but in greater depth.
What I review before recommending an investment
- Strategic location
- Real demand
- Legal structure
- Growth potential
- Value preservation
- Economic context
- Long-term wealth view
Philosophy
Investing well is a matter of judgment and security — not luck.
Stewardship
I don't only walk alongside investments.
I walk alongside important decisions — of life and of wealth.
Investor voices
What those who trusted me say.
Susana was the only one who asked me the right questions before showing me anything. That saved me time, money, and a couple of mistakes.
I was looking for a second home and ended up finding a project that also made financial sense. The difference is in the judgment she brings.
When someone tells you «this isn't for you» instead of selling you what they happen to have, you know you've found the right person.
